A passion for horses led to the establishment of a new equine clinic in Merbein in 1993 on the old “Ridge” road ( originally part of McEdward Station).

The current facilities at Buronga were developed in 2003 under the name Riverbend Veterinary Service.

The clinic is set on 2.5 acres and encompasses reception, retail shop, consulting and surgery rooms including airconditioned facilities for Equine examination, treatment and stabling.

A 60 x 25m covered sand arena and a range of well fenced paddocks and yards are available for hospitalized equine patients as well as rehabilitation and agistment.

The main barn includes separate stalls for dog and cat boarding and a grooming and hydrobath unit.
