Our Clinic

Riverbend Veterinary Clinic | 148 Hendy Road Buronga NSW

Dr. Deborah Abbenhuys arrived in Mildura in 1989 following a study tour of various veterinary clinics in England, Canada and the USA.

A passion for horses led to the establishment of a new equine clinic in Merbein in 1993 on the old “Ridge” road ( originally part of McEdward Station).

The current facilities at 148 Sturt Highway Buronga were developed in 2003 under the name Riverbend Veterinary Service.

The clinic is set on 2.5 acres and encompasses reception, retail shop, consulting, surgery rooms, rehabilitation areas and boarding facilities.

A 60 x 25m covered sand arena and a range of well-fenced paddocks and yards are available for hospitalized equine patients as well as rehabilitation and puppy school.

Dr Deb has over 30 years of experience and provides all styles of treatment. She has a holistic focus recognising the need for alternative therapies where appropriate.

We look forward to treating all your pets, both large and small!
